Los barceloneses, Trees Will Tell, presentan su primer LP, titulado "L'appel du vide". El álbum, grabado, producido y mezclado por Txosse Ruiz (Quien ha compartido producciones junto con Dan Korneff (A day to remember), Joe Marlett (Foo Fighters), o Darian Rundall (Pennywise) y producido títulos significativos de la escena nacional como Avida Dollars, Blowfuse), fue grabado en Wheelsound Studios, y masterizado por Victor Garcia (Ánteros, Anchord, Rebuig, Nueva Vulcano, Viva Belgrado, etc.) en Ultramarinos Mastering Studio. El LP consiste en 10 tracks, que muestran un sonido integro, que navega entre las olas más violentas del Post-hardcore de la década pasada y el rock alternativo, combinado con sutiles matices y pasajes experimentales, que suspiran Post-Rock hasta ciertos toques que rozan el shoegaze.

El contenido lírico del álbum está cargado de imágenes potentes que aparecen a través de la sinestesia como vehículo, entre símiles y figuras de dialogo. Desde canciones como "Hiraeth", que abre el álbum, lidiando con la desesperación de ser expatriado, hasta "Find me, fix me", la cual cierra el disco, exponiendo la aceptación a la pulsión de muerte, pero en pro a la vida; aprovechándola para crear. Aceptando la lobreguez, pero usándola para dar paso a la luz.
